Overview
With over thirty years of professional experience, Campbell is a recognized leader in the financial services industry today. A graduate of Princeton University, Campbell is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and holds a Masters of Science in Financial Services (MSFS). Prior to the formation of Winged Keel Group, he was a senior partner and founder of Circle Consulting Group, a diversified New York based financial services company.
Campbell is a past President of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), the premier life insurance industry association. AALU, along with its sister organization, National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), represent over 80,000 professionals nationwide. On the AALU Board, Campbell served as the Chair of the Business Insurance and Estate Planning Committee and the Political Involvement Committee. As President, Campbell led the AALU response to the Treasury Department notices regarding split dollar life insurance (notices 2001-10 and 2002-8). A reasonable solution was reached after many direct negotiations between industry representatives and the Treasury Department. Campbell was also directly involved in the life insurance industry efforts related to the estate and gift tax rules which ultimately led to HR 1836.
Campbell has been a featured speaker at many major industry meetings, including annual meetings of the AALU, the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), the Top of the Table, and the International Forum.
Campbell has authored articles that have appeared in Strategic Consulting magazine, Executive Compensation and Benefits, and was the subject of a feature article in Advisor Today.
Campbell is married with three children and lives in Rye, New York. He practices yoga and enjoys squash and golf.
